'ES' is a Center for Bodywork, Body Psychotherapy, Human Growth and Development where people learn how to harmonize their bodies, feelings and thoughts. The Center exists for more than 15 years and has built a strong reputation in Europe (We are situated in the Low Countries). Personal Growth through Bodyoriented and Experiential Methods are the basis for work in individual and groupsessions.
Basic and advanced Eveningcourses in Bio-Energetics (In Dutch) are being organized every trimester. Workshops in Heart in Sexuality (With Jack Painter (Creator) and Dirk Marivoet), Core-Energetics (Dirk Marivoet), Deep Bodywork, "Dancing with the Fire"(Dirk Marivoet en Wannes Vandenbroeck), Relaxation Concerts are offered regularly...
'ES' also has a training faculty who train practitioners mostly from the Low Countries in Postural Integration, Energetic Integration and Heart in Sexuality. These practitioners are united in the B.A.B.T (Belgian Association of Bodymind Therapists). Practitioners living in Holland can join the NVPIT.
Dirk Marivoet, Ph.D. gives individual sessions (between 75 and 90 minutes) in Postural and Energetic Integration and Neo-Reichian therapy ( Bio-energetics, Core-energetics, Heart in Sexuality) in his private practice. "In these individual sessions I help you to unite the different aspects of your personality: body, emotions, mind, will and spirit. I work in the "here and now" with breath, deep tissue manipulation, movement, awareness and sharing. Clients tell me that they gain substantial insight in themselves and they are better able to understand their experiences in the context of their personal and cultural histories.
Dirk also guides couples in Couplessessions.
Students in Bodymind Integration can contact Dirk for bodyoriented supervision and learning therapy. Dirk has succesfully guided other professionals (therapists or student-therapists, teachers, managers,...). He is available for supervisionsessions where one can explore such problems as being present in your own body, powerproblems, taking too much on, being too distant, etc. and will learn to transform these difficulties in concrete actions, combined with a deeper understanding of usual pitfalls. On demand, our staff can intervene in your program. In the past Dirk has succesfully offered adapted programs to psychotherapists, nurses, physiotherapists, educators, as well as coorporate people.
Dirk Marivoet, coordinator of 'ES', has more than 20 years of experience with bodymind-psychotherapy. He has studied with Dr. John C. Pierrakos, the founder, together with Alexander Lowen of Bio-Energetic Analysis and of Core-Energetics. Since 1984 he has been training and cooperating with Jack Painter, Ph.D., the founder of Bodymind Integration (Postural and Energetic Integration). Dirk is an officer of the International Council of Psychocorporal Integration Trainers (ICPIT) and trains actively P.I. and E.I. - bodypsychotherapists in Europe.
As a certified firewalkinstructor and with intense training in transpersonal methods he also conducts firewalkingsemininars, sweatlodges, transpersonal breathwork, etc.
